The Jewish Un-Camp and Hillel High of Milwaukee present
A Shabbat weekend for teen girls, 15-18
May 2-4, 2014 [fri-sun]
@Chabad of Mequon-2233 W. Mequon Road, Mequon, WI
Join your independent-thinking Jewish peers from around the country for a Shabbat weekend slumber party. Get ready for candid talk about the things that matter most to you. Creative workshops for the non-conformist in you. New friends and powerful insights into your life based on thousands of years of Jewish wisdom.
What’s On The Agenda
Find out about true love, Jewish medical ethics, the key to happiness, the human psyche, the nature of the soul, what do dreams mean, what about faith, free will and reincarnation, where was G-d during the Holocaust, what’s Shabbat for, what about other religions, why do bad things happen to good people…and whatever else is on your mind.
This isn’t someone else’s agenda, it’s yours.
Who Comes
If you’re female and Jewish, between the ages of 15 and 18, you’re off to a good start. You don’t need any formal Jewish education, just some genuine curiosity, and you don’t need to come with a friend because you’re going to make plenty of them when you’re with us.
Staff
The staff of Milwaukee’s new Hillel High School will join internationally acclaimed educator, Rabbi Manis Friedman, and a team of knowledgeable, responsible and spirited counselors.

Sign up fee is $50. Shabbaton fee is $130.
